looking at buying a apartment in the centre of Sheffield. Does anybody know development companies contact details for buying off Plan? I have search the Internet to no avail. Any experiences with buying off plan would also be welcomed.
Buying off plan is OK assuming the market is rising, there is a view that we getting towards the top of the market.
Some new developments are reducing prices, so if you had bought off plan at these sites you may have paid over the current market rates.
As for contact details, you have just got to drive around and look at the boards on the sites, most sites will have some form of advertising, most developers also sell via Estate Agents.
The other down side is you dont get a true feel for what the place will be like, how big it feels etc etc.
Having said all of that, if you had bought off plan this time last year then you would be laughing all the way to the bank.
