was born in 1968 at 144 chipingham street attercliffe.remember the ginnel ran into a yard of 4 houses we were on the left.a family called keyhoe next door to our right and a lady called winnie who worked as an overhead crane driver at brown baileys.also on our left was a lady who lived with her son too.always remember the outside toilet as there were no facilities inside.would hate going in the dark as it was at the outer edge of the yard where the canal wall was.was only about 6 years old and remember i had to get back to the house and shut and lock the door behind me before the flush had finished.ARR HAPPY DAYS. also it would freeze up in the winter.and the canal.spent many a happy saturday throwing things from our wall to see if we could reach the other side.mostly my dads tools and my dinky cars.have so many stories if anybody has any to share back or remembers/lived in the same street..
