OK, here's a question for you all. What are the worst TV shows around at the moment? Not the things you watch and complain about, butthe things you find so awful you actually vote by switching off!

Here's my list of duffers to get things going.

1. Only Fools & Horses (I hate Christmas because of it!)
2. All televised sport (To those of you who jump up and down with excitement in pubs at football:- Get a life!!!!)
3. London's Burning
4. Heartbeat
5. Touch Of Frost
6. Inspector Morse
7. Midsommer Murders
8. Family Affairs
9. Taggart
10. Songs Of Praise
11. Who Wants To Be A Millionaire
12. Countdown
13. Casualty / Holby City
14. Steel River Blues
15. Coronation Street
16. Trisha (a poor imitation of Jerry Springer)
17. Hollyoaks
18. As Time Goes By
19. News (Why does it take everyone else half an hour, three times a day to do what John Craven could do in 10 minutes, 4 times a week!!!!)
20. The Fresh prince Of Bel Air

It looks to me like you need to use the off button more ;)

Apart from the football, I completely agree with you. I would also add that horrendous drivel presented by Denise Van Outen on Saturday nights too.

I would say the worst things on TV are the soaps. Second position would go to the numerous Pop Idol/PopStars type of programs... which we can blame for the horrendous Will Gates/Gareth Young pop rubbish!

Eastenders has to be the worst depressing TV prog i've ever seen, closely followed by its Northern equivalent Where The Heart Is, more doom and gloom but from the north.

The worst programmes on telly have to be the "lets rumage about in your attic then flog all your rubbish at a car boot sale" ones they have on in the afternoons.

Flog It, Cash In the Attic etc - argghhhh!
