Does anyone know what happened to Patrick Walker? I saw him perform at many places around sheffield in the early 80's. I know he recorded some of his work at radio hallam and radio sheffield but he just disapeared of the scene. I loved his voice and he could play many instruments.

I would love to know what happened to him and if he recorded any material that is available.

Last time I saw him (couple of years ago) was in a pub in Hathersage, which is where I believe he now lives.

Dont know if this is the same Patrick Walker as the last time I saw him he would have been in his early teens. I know he played the folk clubs in and around sheffield. I remember him on radio hallam when he sang a song called "play me that honky tonk music" I was very impressed by the song and hoped he would make the big time one day.

There was some mention of a Patrick Walker on this thread:

I presume that's the same bloke - I knew him back in the late 70's when he was wowing everyone with his fiddle skills in the folk clubs back then.
