Queens Head, Old Cart and Horses and The Market are all worthy of a visit, The Packhorse around the corner is also a half decent pub too. I would personally avoid the Pheonix, seem to have gone down hill of late.

White Harts been knocked down mate!! It were a reyt dump tho, it made a good local for me when I was 15!!

Nice Chinese food at the Cart & Horses!
Queens Head is ok if you are young and like fighting.

watch what you are saying, my mate owns the queens head. there are many different people go in the queens old young & yes on a fri & sat night it may feel like your in a pub in town but thats the best thing about it! my dad still drinks in this pub & so do a lot of my family. fighting is not really an issue there cus anyone fighting gets bared like my Brother-in-law!
the market is the better of the two pubs tho, got much more of a relaxed feeling, yes it is worth going in for a drink, pop by on a thursday & do the pub quiz!
not too sure on the rose inn!
the white heart got demolished & apartments now sit on that site!
Old Cart & Horses is a really nice pub, always see a wide variation of people in there & thay have an adventure play area for the kids & they do the best chineese in high green (in my opinion).
Pack Horse is a really nice pub, always see a wide variation of people in there & thay have an adventure play area for the kids & i think they do some ales in there too! very popular as a after football sunday luegue pub!
Pheonix, the last time i went in here i saw 4 of my old dealers dealing so havent been in for 18 months, i'm guessing its still the same!
Bridge Inn has just recently been done out, recomend going in here for a drink!
if your wanting to come for a drink in high green if your on the younger side you will probably enjoy the queens head more buty the best pub in high green no matter what age you are is the salutation pub at the top of the hill wortley road!

The reason the imposter asked the question is because we are trying to go in every pub in sheffield. We've never been to high green so we are planning to go in everyone on a night out.
If anyone wants details of our quest pm me and we'll give our weekly updates on scores and pubs we've been in.
By the looks of it high green should be a good night out.
