Is it just me or are we all getting lots more SPAM since the start of 2007. My yahoo e-mail inbox is getting about 16+ SPAM e-mails everyday since the new year. In 2006 I'd get 2 or 3 every couple of days, now my E-mail inbox is becoming flooded and Yahoo spam filter cannot stop them either.
Most of them claim to be unsuccessfuly sent and returned to me and have no doubt virus ridden attachments that I'm not stupid enough to open. I just mark them as SPAM and wait for the next load to arrive.
Is anyone else having this problem of more SPAM in 2007? :help:
Yeah
I checked my old Pipex email account last night, and there was over 200 spam messages... I don't even like tinned ham all that much! :hihi:
200? I get close to that a DAY.
Fortunately Freeserve / Wanadoo / Whateverthehellitsnow-adoo (not my current ISP, just still responsible for my email account 'cos I'm too lazy to change) is pretty good at flagging up "**Spam**" so, after several months of teaching it the real spam from the not spam, I have set a rule to send it all to junk.
I'm only getting 4 or 5 mails a day now. :)

Yahoo send all my spam emails to the junk folder and they get deleted straight away.
I'm with Hotmail, always have been, only get the odd couple of spam mails a week, thats it.
But they're always automatically put in the 'junk' folder, and get deleted after about 5 or 7 days, so no skin off my nose.

yes
and it's going to get worse unless 'something' is done. Over 95% of all email sent is spam.
makelovenotspam.com came close, but dozens of bleeding heart do gooder bloggers nixed the project in the early stages and the sponsors (lycos) withdrew.
