I turned up at DQ with 4 mates just after 7 to find the place in total darkness bearing in mind posters and posts on various forums advertised it as opening 7pm. I tried to open the doors which were all locked and by chance tried the door to upstairs which was open.

We were met by a guy who asked us ‘what are were doin here’?? when we told him we’d come for the event he replied ‘were not opening till 8, im having my tea so you’ll have to leave and come back later??

On any normal night it wouldn’t have been too bad, but there was nothing open and no where to go, the weather was truly awful so we just got a taxi home, very un-happy!

If your going to change details of your events you need to let people know!!

Apologise to you Quint and anyone who came down and were turned away or couldn’t get in the building on Monday night. We (Cargo) were unaware of any change of venue or different opening times until we arrived.

I know its not much consolation but if you would like to PM your address I’ll send you over a copy of our new mix cd.
