what is the preffered method of the forums users to eat Pot Noodle with??

random question but just having a debate! lol

yay! thats what i was looking for! i say spoon but my fiancee sat here says fork... (silly woman) lol

I use both spoona nd folk.

Fork and then drink the juice (if any) left over.. :rolleyes:

always a danger of cutting your lip tho on any leftover foil still stuck to the pot deejay??.. dont ya just hate it when that happens?lol

anyone tried those new super noodles that come in a pot?

I use a fork for pot noodles but a spoon for most other meals (sweet n sour, rissotto etc)

If i use a spoon for pot noodles when one noodle starts to slide off the edge on the journey between pot and mouth it takes the rest of the noodles with it. A fork has far more control and you do indeed have the added bonus of drinking the juice (ensuring all foil is removed of course)

Pot noodles! Not eaten them since I was a student! So full of c**p, really bad for you. It's actually cheaper to make a proper meal, but pot noodles are great if you're being super lazy!

In saying all that, if I had to pick one, I'd use a fork. You can twist the noodles round it easier. Then drink the juice left at the bottom. Spoons aren't great at picking up slippery noodles.

In reality I'd use both, you can use the spoon to help you twist the noodles round the fork, then the spoon for the juice at the bottom!

Actually, in reality, I wouldn't eat a pot noodle!

i use a fork and then stick a piece of bread in the bottom to soak up the juice.

definately a fork, hate it when use a spoon, when noodles fall off the spoon and splash hot water on you *OUCH!*

I was reading through this thread again and suddenly had a craving for a Chicken & Mushroom Pot Noodle, having none in the house I walked to shop to get one and happily returned with my purchase in hand.

When i got home I decided to multi-task and make my Pot Noodle and a Coffee at the same time, I poured the hot water into both the Pot Noodle and the coffee cup, I then went in the fridge for the milk and then poured the last drop of milk straight into the pot Noodle by mistake instead of the coffee. Now I have no milk for another coffee and my Pot noodle is ruined. :(

Life sucks

I do apologise but reading this in the office earlier made my afternoon enjoyable :) although I am sorry to hear about your poor pot noodle..

I like to start my pot noodle with a fork... then once at the bottom i get a spoon to finish it off... (juices or liquid :confused: )


PS... As for a creme egg bite the top off and suck out the fondant... :lol:

Glad i made your afternoon, as i was feeling lazy and didn't feel like cooking i had a Penguin and a kit-kat to console my self instead, not the healthiest of meals but most enjoyable.

pot noodles are rough! My housemates used to eat them all the time... I prefer a pasta'n'sauce myself - longer, but worth the wait.
