Thats really nice :)

I saw an old dear the other day whilst driving and felt like asking her if she needed a hand with her shopping or wanted a lift as i could see she was struggling, but then thought to myself i might scare her (not that i'm scary looking you understand :? ) so thought it against it :(

Been there and done the same thing.
Some people can take it the wrong way but in todays world of crack heads and hoodies you can hardly blame them.
Shame though.

GREAT COMMENT

I wear a hoodie - I'm a teacher
My boyfriend wears a hoodie - he's a microsoft technical trainer
My mate wears a hoodie - he's a teacher
I associate hoodies with surfer/skater types as did most people until the press got hold of it and turned everyone against an item of clothing.

The majority of people I know that wear hoodies are nice people. Hoodie does not mean Hoodlum.

Just wanted to get that off my chest.

I read this post earlier today Strix and had the self same warm feeling - till I got to the last line, when I experienced a sudden reversal from 'warm and fluffy' to 'this guy's a tosser'.......

Thats a bit harsh!? He was just telling a nice story and tried to put a bit of humour in it. Just because you dont share his sense of humour doesnt make him a tosser

I once helped an old woman across a busy road with her bags and felt bad letting her walk all the way home with them (they were heavy!!) so offered to carry them for her. We walked for about 2 miles to get to her house haha. God knows how she'd have managed, I'm just glad she didn't take me for a mugger.
