It is the city hall.

Unfortunately, many of the old boys on the film have now died.
Ruben Gonzales, Compay Segundo and Ibrahim Ferrer, but at least they had a superb period in the limelight and a much more comfortable existance for a few years at the end of their lives.

Omg, OMG, I am SO glad you posted this up ! I was so gutted when I missed Ibrahim Ferrer when he came to Manchester last time round. :hihi:

I'm going although I've never heard any of their music before! I just thought it sounded interesting so I decided I'd give it a go.

Loved it! F*ckin great night, especially the shortest, oldest horn section on earth! Me gusta!

I'll remember that forever.

I liked the trumpeter in the hat and his dance moves. Very much enjoyed it. First time for ages I've been to a sold-out City Hall!

Yep, they were proper dudes doing little synchronised spins like The Drifters or something! The little bass player being helped on and off the stage too, bless him! And Barbarito Torres doing a Jimi Hendrix on the laud - class!

I wanna go again! :(

I was a bit concerned that the bass player wasn't going to make it through the whole set!

Yeah cachaito is getting ona bit. Thought he was going to croak it but he still kept time....

They were brilliant. Really good to see musicianship of that calibre.
