I've tried to check out on the forum if this advice as already been posted but no joy...and someone else seems to have just sold some on the 'for sale' section.

I've just got back from trying to buy some decent speakers for my computer...got old/tinny ones at the mo. I don't want a grand set up but want half decent quality and will spend, I don't know, up to £50 or something? All the sales staff just tell me to buy the most expensive but I'm sure that's not always the best!

Any advice (or ones you can sell me)?

Thought I saw someone earlier selling a 2.1 set - have they gone?

Thanks Phil. Just found the speakers for sale - and yes you're right they may not have sold so have asked...still would appreciate some ideas though just in case.

I don't know much about speakers, but you may find this post to be of interest also, Edifier 2.1 Speakers (http://www.hotukdeals.com/PNphpBB2-viewtopic-t80-.phtml)

I've got a set of these (http://www.microdirect.co.uk/ProductInfo.aspx?ProductID=4744&GroupID=227) and they sound great.

PC Formats No.1: 2.1 Speakers:

VideoLogic ZXR-200 £35

Bargain priced, with a compact, juicy subwoofer. Total power is a modest 35 watts, but satellites provide rich support.
