I notice some forummers blame religion for wars these days.
Why should any religion that promotes love and forgiveness as most of them do start war?
If you believe that a force for good exists then does it follow that a force for evil exists also

It's often a case of "my god is better than your god" that causes the conflict.
The devil has a much cooler image than god (better music etc), so I'd go for him every time. But in reality, you'd have to say the devil is just another myth - albeit a powerful one
The devil does exist, SHE is six years old and asleep at the moment. lol.

He is a robot and i want his hands.
Religion in my opinion is and always has been a business for the church.
The paying of a pennance for your sins to be forgiven was to me an evil way of taking money from the poor to make them believe that they had been absolved of all wrong doing by god.
All religions are contradictory and the members of these cults have little or no respect for people that believe in something different.
In most cases, those that are not of the religion that is the norm' are persecuted and made to seem insignificant within the society.
Through the ages, wars and crusades have been fought between these organisations with god being on each of the sides.
The cost of human life due directly to persecution by one religion against another over the years is far greater than all the world wars that have been fought.
Is there a Devil???? Yes! but it is disguised like a wolf in sheeps clothing .
Ever wonder why the different religions have vast amounts of money?
:o Yes, but in multiples in the form of some students at the place where I work!
