I've been searching for some 6.5mm dpn's. It seems they are hard to come by :suspect: Found these two websites, which I thought might be useful to add to the recommended thread. I haven't used them yet - so can't really say if they are any good though :thumbsup:.

Yarnsmith (http://www.yarnsmith.co.uk) - Found as the cheapest for the Brittany Birch dpn's
DT Craft & Design (http://www.dtcrafts.co.uk) - Sell undyed wool and stuff to dye it.

Web of wool (http://www.fleming.flump.net/~webofwoo/shop/product.php?xProd=73&xSec=16) stocks them, and I've used them before, they're really good and quick.

Check out their huge range of sock yarn too, I'm not a big sock knitter, but there's always a yarn there to tempt me..

Thanks guys. I should have asked on here instead of searching for hours - it took up all my last night's knitting time (only get to do it when little one is in bed and not playing up), and would have had an hour to do some knitting :(

I ended up ordering them from the DT Craft and Design - didn't spot the yarnsmith website until after - I really should stop looking once I have ordered as I was kicking myself.

I haven't done in any sock knitting, and this will be the first time I have used dpn's and a circular needle - I'm having a go at the booga bag (http://www.blacksheepbags.com/booga_bag.html).

Was really excited today, as my order came from get knitted, with my circular needle and nora wool and some 10mm straight needles for another project. I really should just finish the project I'm doing first before I start another though or even think about one :P
