That is amazing, but the guy needs to work on his fuel. I think a paraffin-methanol mix would be better.

I want one..keep the scum of my garden ..i mean to keep the weeds down.!!

Im sure Ive seen one advertised in a gardening magazine for about £20, powered by butane?? maybe. I think it was the parasene one. Are they any good because Ive considered getting one myself.

My Dad in law has one of those, it's great for spot weeding, gaps in flagstones & between seedling rows.

I'm after something a bit more substantive to cover a wider, more unkempt area :help:

I love gardening mags. It would be a treat for me. I subscribe to Amateur Gardening and occasionally buy Garden News when I see it. If anyone lives near me in S6 and would like some second hand copies of garden news let me know and I'll save them for you and when theres a good amount you can collect them!

I got the parasene weed wand today and as it was a nice day I thought I would get going. My problem is that Wilkinsons sold the wands but not the butane/propane canisters. Does anyone know anywhere round Hillsborough where I can get them? Do they have to be parasene brand?

I wonder if towsure will do them?

Good point Shelly! They might be the same as you use for those mini stoves or something.
