Just seen a huge convoy of motorbikes riding down Penistone Road..must have been over 100 riders.
Is it in memeory of the biker that died in Outibridge the other week??
It was an amazing site :thumbsup:

yes I saw them also, all parked up just off earl marshall rd, think they must have all met there or something as there were loads of them and i had to drive in the middle. Shame it was all for a funeral.

the bike convoy was for pete wild who will be missed by many people he was killed in a bike accident at oughtibridge a fortnight ago
as one of the riders i,d lioke to thank all the drivers held up by us for their patience

There was a really nice write up, and photograph, in last nights Star paper, about the cortege.

a lovely tribute... my sympathy to his family and friends.

Friday - a big tribute to Pete at the Classic Rock Bar. So many bikes. The CRB team did the best that we could for the wake and the bikers.

I beleive the CVlassic Rock bar is going to have his bike displayed that he had the acciden on - once it has been built back up anyway.

I got that news off other friends of Pete's. I guess that isn't true if you work/own the Classic Rock Bar eh??
