Hi, my son bought a Q-be 512mb Mp3 player about 14 months ago from Currys. His usb lead is no longer working, and I have found it impossible to find a replacement. I telephoned Currys, and they advised me to go into the shop - I went into the shop and they told me to phone up:loopy: They eventually gave me the number for Partmaster, and after phoning them, they also cannot help me and have advised me to go into the shop!:suspect: So I gets on t'internet hoping to find a new lead easily. The only ones I can find are on ebay from Hong Kong. :suspect: I phoned Bardwells hoping they may help, but no luck. The lead has a usb on one end to connect to the pc for downloading and charging up, and a jack plug on the other end to go into the mp3 unit. Any ideas? Thanks :)

I would have to take a look, but its probably a none standard miniature USB 1 connector like they used to use on the GP32, I have a lead i used to use for my GP32, but i wouldnt beable to say without trying it ;)

I think they use the same connection as the new iPod Shuffles, a 3.5mm 'Jack' to sync and charge, you might want to take a look and see if you can find one that is for the new iPod Shuffle, it would probably work.

I'd try maplins, failing that take a picture of the old one and try and show us, somebody will probably recognise it, I think I have about every cable known to man in my drawer, theres about 3 or 4 mini USB connections that I know of
