Im currently on a tour of Sheffield's pubs with my sidekick captainsleep. Does anyone know if these pubs either exist or are still open?

King & Miller, Manchester Rd, Deepcar
Fox & Duck, Pye Bank, Pitsmoor
Norfolk Arms, Carlisle Street??

The King and Miller does. I take it you're not doing this tour all in one go - that's some mightily impressive drinking if you are!

Yes Club Xes is gay and used to be called the Norfolk Arms. Its only open at night and a lot of people go after Dempseys shuts at 2am as they are open until 4 (don't think they serve alcohol after 2 though).

The King & Miller still exists in Deepcar.

My grandfather used to be the landlord there, years ago.

If you visit, don't go in the cellar....... it's haunted........

Club x's (or however you want to put it) is still open - yes it is a gay bar......the pub opposite is Ma Bakers...used to be a pub with strippers, then a gay bar, then strippers again & now back to a gay bar....

This pub is confused about its sexuality.....

Think this is the wrong fox and duck... the one on the list is in Pitsmoor.

But I don't think the one in Broomhill sucks - it's not great but its ok.

Ma Bakers is now called Av-It Bar, it is supposed to be gay, but I agree they seem to be confused if its gay or staight.
