Its on the Netherthorpe. Where that bloke got stabbed to death the other night. Bit of a problem with prostitution and pimps .

All people who know each other, so unless anders is proposing getting involved with the underworld there is no reason why he shouldn't be safe. That whole area is about to see hundreds of millions of regeneration though. Might be good time to get in. :thumbsup:

Jericho Street is on the nice side of Netherthorpe, not in the red light district. That stabbing was on the other side of the dual carriageway, just up from all those boarded up flats the council are demolishing.

What I want to know is, which its not part of S10? Its closer to them then to people in Pitsmoor! Maybe they would then see the crime rate rise a bit eh ;)

I own 2 properties a little higher up than Jericho St., on the Bramwell Gardens development and there has not been any bother in the 4 years I have had them. They are both very popular houses and I rent them very easily. Tenants tend to stay in them for quite a long time too, so I reckon that's a good recommendation for the area on that side of the dual carriageway.

i have lived in netherthorpe for going on 14 years now 8 of those on jericho st.
all i can say is i find it great, safe, reasonably quiet,close to lots of green spaces and handy for just about anywhere (bus, tram or walking). if you are looking at the bottom of the road YOU WILL hear the tram and dual caridgeway but apart from that would recomend it.

I also live on the Bramwell Gardens development, and I love it.

I've been there for over 4 years.

The only problem I've had is that my car was broken into on the drive once, and the stereo stolen. But I think you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere that car crime doesn't happen!

It's really handy for town too - close enough to walk into the city centre in about 15 minutes, yet far enough away to be fairly quiet.
