Just woken up with a dry mouth and needed a drink, no intention of getting up yet. Went to the window and I can see quite a few houses with lights on, no doubt a lot of them are because the kids are really excited that Santa has been and are either harrassing Mum and Dad to get up or diving in and have fun.
It makes my heart warm.
For now, I'm going back to bed while I can.
Merry Christmas.

7.00 am, when our kids were small it would have been more like 5.00 am, we used to leave a small gift at the bottom of their bed to keep them happy until a more reasonable hour.

Left the house at 4.45am this morning and the roads were completely empty did expect some traffic but hey it was great. Beauchief to Attercliffe in under 5 mins! :D Lots of lights on even then. Feel sorry for all those mums and dads hung over and then screaming children (in a nice way)

Merry Christmas to you all.

lol crikey, ;) ;)

you are as bad as my ex (lol) ...

some years ago, we bought our lad and his half-brother a scalextric racing set, and the ex and the bro-in-law insisted it had to be set up, (before Xmas) their excuse was it was so that it could be "test-driven" so they knew it was working ok, and fit to give to the boys...

I was jumping on my Mum and Dad's bed at 4.30am. I do believe they were out partying though. I had fun, all the same.
