Can anyone recommend any decent radio stations available over t'internet?
I used to listen to a radio station in Canada but can't seem to get that anymore.
I can recommend skyrock (http://www.skyrock.com/home.phtml) which is a french station which plays urban/rnb/hiphop/rap but I like anything within reason.
I think the ability to listen to radio from some far flung place is great.
Any suggestions?

media player offers quite a list of radio stations (sites).
but ive always had a problem with the popular ones becoming subscription based. if anyone can recommend a good free one that would be great.

I listen to Radio Paradise a lot. They're a listener supported station that plays an eclectic mix but generally rockish. They play a good mix of songs you don't hear very often and the play order is all planned so you get some cool segues and contrast.

The best one I've found on the net is www.wefunkradio.com (http://www.wefunkradio.com)
Plays a mixture of quality Funk and Hip Hop.
OK,
Does anyone know how I can disable windows sounds, and just listen to Real Player music?
It's annoying listening to net radio with the occasional windows dong or ICQ eh-oh coming throughh my hifi!
Cheers,
rarstar.
