Oh please! We're all stressed over those un-bought presents; you know - the distant relative who has announced they will be visiting over the festive period and you are desperately rummaging through last year's unwanted pressies to see what you can re-wrap. Do I care about unusual deaths? Like 'No'! Mr Godzilla has refused to eat the mushrooms on 4 seperate occasions, and is still untempted by the deadly nightshade.

Don't get me started.

"Unusual Case of Suicide by Means of a Pneumatic Hammer"

"Death from Pool Chlorine"

"An unusual suicide attempt using a circular saw"

Plus many many more, courtesy of the Journal of Forensic Sciences :D

There are millions of unusual deaths in the U.K.

There are people who don't smoke, don't touch alcohol, only eat the 'correct' type of food, go jogging, running or generally throwing themselves around and would never, ever consider taking drugs.

Yet, every year, millions of them hand in their dinner-pail. I wonder what on earth polishes them off ? The authorities should be informed immediately.

How about suicide by smoking? That's got to be up there with the weirdest, longest drawn out deaths around. :loopy:

Fareast, they all fell prey to the deadly vice of excess (in their case, an excess of abstinence from life's little pleasures). Others have died through an excess of moderation.

Perhaps the maxim should be, 'moderation in all things, including moderation'

Why isn’t Diana on the list or isn’t her death unusual now that the inquiry is over.

:suspect:

The oxymoronic idea of an immoderate moderator?

The thought never crossed my mind for a nano-second :D

:suspect:

Death In A Nasty Accident is not a unusual way to die, what thinks unusual about Diana's death was the mass hysteria of some of general public feeling distress & sorrow for someone most never had even met!
