just wondering as i've seen an offer which i like but i'm currently on vodafone. would like to keep my current number so would i be able to insert my vodafone sim in? or if not, can i transfer my number over? :huh: :confused:

well i can say i got my daughter a virgin phone last year and it was open for all networks. I dont know if they are now but that is the reason i went for the phone when i was told in the virgin shop that it will take my daughter vodafone sim card.

Virgin are a pretty good network to subscribe to! Im not sure whether their phones sre locked to virgin but it's better to transfer your number because t'interweb and stuff wont work on a vodafone sim.

Not seen any mobile virgins at this end of town for a long while.............

the virgin mobiles i have had have all been locked, however once you spend £40 of credit they will unlock it for free. They will let you transfer your number over you will have to ask them about it first and then ask vodafone for some code that allows it!
