I ordered Lawrence Dallaglio's book from Amazon for a Christmas present and was given a late November delivery date. I have now been told it won't be here for Christmas. I'm not at odds with Amazon as I had the chance to cancel but I was told that although they have the book to hand, they can't release it as certain publishers are a bit touchy about publication dates.
The point I make is that one would have thought it would have been launched for the Christmas market, given that it is 'out'.
