I normally feel happy when I'm drunk... but the last time I got drunk I felt terrible the next day when I was reminded of how I had made a total fool of myself in the Indian takeaway on the way home! :blush: :blush: :blush: :blush:

I get more sociable, happy, then occasionally a teensy bit sad, and then doze off in the corner.

I run the gamut of emotion!

Like Joe, there's a level of tipsy at which I am very happy, life and soul of the party. Usually two drinks later you will find me being a crying, unhappy mess! Add two more and I am happy again!

Never passed out from being too drunk and I don't get violent drunk or sober.

I rarely drink these days, never mind get drunk. But when I do I get extremely soppy and tell everyone how much I love them!! I want to hug and kiss anyone and everyone. I also tend to speak my mind which can be a bit dangerous!!

I'm definetly with Larry when I'm drunk.:bigsmile:

I get happier, and ring the traffic cone helpline if I pass a phonebox :D

Last time I was drunk I was dancing (not salsa) in a public place !!

Was fun ... but was dehydrated and had a bad head the day after.

It really depends on what kind of mood I'm in as to how easily I get drunk.

Good mood = happy, more confident, a bit flirty, the munchies and fall asleep when I get home. No hangover. :D

Not so good mood = drink has no effect, get bored and go home early. Still no hangover. :D

Good thing about that is that I don't drink when I'm in a bad mood cos I don't see the point so no worries about me becoming an alcoholic should my life turn to poo. :D

I have found that drink can take different effects depending on the mood you are in before going out drinking

Depressed or down: Emotions/anger tend to kick in maybe a
tad touchy towards ya friends

I find that alcohol generally acts as an amplifier.
ie, if I'm feeling a bit happy before I start drinking then I'll be buzzing and p'raps go hyper. But if I'm already feeling a bit crap then now I'll be feeling very depressed and worse :(

Life's about having fun. I often see all these miserable folk standing around trying to look cool in bars and stuff. But they are the ones who seem dull to me. If a little tipple helps bring a little laugher, then its a good thing. I like a few pints here and there, but I don't like loosing it. I've been in a proper state more times than I'd like to admit when I was a student, and if I'm honest, I became a male slapper. I try not to these days - 8 pint maximum now.
It's fun writing when pished after a night out, though... I construct some gems, sometimes comic, sometimes philosophical. Some of my finest have been drunken literary shluurs. Earns me a fortune, so booze is not all bad!

When I'm drunk I'm much the same as when I'm not - chatty and happy. Although I do tend to get a bit outspoken.
