I know I should have given it a mention a long time ago, but how many of you have noticed the thoughtful 'Happy Chanukah' lights between Barkers Pool and the City Hall.

As someone of mixed part Jewish Heritage, I must give a big hand to the Council for thinking of such an impressive gesture as this, to what after all must be Britain's oldest Ethnic minority of all (originally came over 1000 years ago!

I've not seen the lights but I know that the council does that sort of stuff. They also put up "Happy Eid" lights etc...

Why not go and have a look? You may be pleasantly surprised. But, if you can't be bothered to go to the city centre to find out, why not just assume there aren't any?
