Just heard on Radio Sheffield that tonights concert at the arena is cancelled.

Just going to post this, yeah. I don't normally get wound up about stuff like this, but to cancel 3 hours before is extremely crap of them.

Arena website won't load, their phone lines are busy, and the only news i can see is on the Kasabian forums saying:

I hear someones got food poisoning

Not sure if this will be of any use, but it has just been on Hallam FM that the gig is cancelled tonight and will be rescheduled.

Dammit!!! I was looking forward to that.

why has it been cancelled?

I think that one of the band is ill, no news on when it will be but maybe third time lucky? Hallam FM keep giving updates but you can't get on the Arena website or get through on the phones.

Just been called by Hallam Arena. Gutted.

Arena website now says due to band illness.

Chris_sleeps - I feel your anger. I've only just found out can't believe they've left it until now to inform everyone. They didn't even let people know last time. I've travelled up from Stoke and left everyone getting hammered while I sit here miserable!
I'm not usually the complaining type but who do I rant at? I'm so p****d off!

Have to say I'm impressed that see tickets phoned me but feel sorry for all those travelling a distance to the arena to see them. Can't believe they'd leave it until 3 hours before to cancel and after already postponing once!

Just had e-mail notification - cancelled gig has been re-scheduled to Wednesday 7th March.

No Fratellis then, shame, although I do expect them to be headling the arena in their own right pretty soon.

Bah to a midweek gig. Bah to no Fratellis.

But it is near to my birthday so can just have a whole week of celebrations from the 4th (Jet) 7th (Kasabian) 10th (Holloways) 11th My Birthday!!!!
