In the spirit of Christmas, do you think there should be an amnesty for those "bad lads & lasses" who got banned during the year?

Maybe a probationary period, just to see if they have reformed?

What do you think?

Question is, would they want to come back?

I was banned for a week for (what I personally considered) fairly innocuous reasons, and felt like a boy being made to stand in the hall at dinnertime. IMHO, banning orders are so arbitrary you never know whom you will be upsetting.

The only thing I learnt from my ban is that some people on here have skin thinner than a Hollyoaks storyline. The ban hasn't changed my views, candour or opinions one scrap.

No, there shouldn't, and there won't be.

People nursing long or permanent bans have received them after shorter bans and warnings have failed. The odd occasion in the past when we have given 'second chances' have simply resulted in the people concerned repeating their behaviour - we're not wasting our time in the same way again.

Any issues regarding bans are between the people who're banned and the Admin team, so those directly involved can always contact the heldpesk.

Closing.
