Back in the day when 'deal or no deal' refered only to his BBC contract negotiations, Nolly (dear, dear Nolly) used to spend Xmas Day doing charitable deeds, usually dressed in suitable Dickensian costume and surrounded by fake snow.

Do you miss this programme?

Yes actually, I do. I was only saying the other day that I wish they would bring that back but I don't think they will.
It's the only "real life" stuff that I could watch, better than the real "celebrity" life stuff thats churned out now.
That just turns me off:gag:

Sadly I do miss it a little. But I still miss Swap Shop and Posh Paws so I am a lost cause.

The only time I could miss Noel Edmunds is if someone meddled with the sight on my rifle.

My Mum used to watch this every year and be in floods of 'happy' tears. It really was the highlight of her Xmas.

Best one I recall was some bloke who was a big fan of The Hollies, and they got them to play in his back yard.

I remember once in one of the earlier years he introduced a woman to John Major. She was over-joyed and almost moved to tears.

Urggh - I just remember it being a load of old sentimental claptrap. NEVER bring it back!

The only thing I miss about Noel Edmunds is his absence from TV

Oh yes, "Happy Tears" are good. I also used to watch with MY mum and we would be crying "Happy Tears" together. Now she's no longer here and neither is the programme.

Tragically I am so giddy about that fact ( Johnny Craven in his lovely jumpers) I will be going through the Radio Times soon.

No! Hate programmes which are designed to make people cry on christmas day!
I remember one where a blind girl got a visit from Ronan Keating (her idol) and he sat down next to her at her piano while she was playing and she just knew he was there. *gulp* !!

Noel Edmonds.? No way. Cant stand :

His coiffered hair

His beard & mustache

His small height

His 70s flowered shirts

And the way he walks, all stiff and quick like a soldier. No theres nothing at all I like about Noel Edmonds. Not my type of bloke Im afraid. Now George Clooney.................................thats a different matter

How many decades ago was this.
I am 40 years old in two and a half years and I haven't a clue what Noel's Christmas Presents was.
I have never heard of them.
