it used to be the Mango Tree..i think.. Its on london road.Has anyone been in? If so, what was it like?

Drove past it tonight after i had a meal at Noodle Inn. Think its just newly opened and it was packed!

looked at the website and there is a teppanyaki room  Always fun to watch the chef cooking the meal.

Will have to visit there soon :)

It's realy good, but a bit exepnsive.
The Sushi is great, and you get quite a lot of it.
Try the deep fried soft shelled crabs.

The restaurant is very well decorated and comfortable and the staff are great.

I recommend it highly!

We ate in the teppanyaki room and it was fantastic.
Went a bit overboard and had the full works,it's quite a lot to get through.

Watch out when he cooks the egg fried rice as whats left over of the egg is rolled into small pieces and thrown at you to catch in your mouth!

The only downside is that the Mango Tree is now gone.
Carrabian is my fave and the only other one at Broomhill is dire:gag:

That one in Broomhill is (suposedly) African cooking, I've only been once and the food was ok (goat stew), but took forever to turn-up.
I don't think I'd go again.

Another good one on London Road is Froggies Bistro (opposite the Cremorne), the food there is fantastic.

The sushi is yum (doesn't take much in Sheffield) and the prices are cheap. Have been there a few times now. The first time the ramen was overcooked but when I went again one of our party ordered ramen and asked to make sure it was not overcooked and they did it just right :)
