View Full Version : Dont take out carphone warehouse insurance! superblues 20-12-2006, 08:30 took a contract out in june, paid insurance for the phone, lost the phone on a night out and the insurance arses wont pay up because it was,nt reported to the police within 48 hours !!!!!!!!!!!!! i thought because i had lost the phone it wasnt a police matter ? i,ve had a phone for ten years, never made a claim.n kingdon 20-12-2006, 08:33 whos fault is it you cant read? its written ot clearly you have to report to police/service provider to stop illego use of phone, why havnt you report to service provider as tey will have told you to report to police! Its part of your responsibility in looking after the phone to report it lost or stolen to the police (who will give you a loss number and then have a ecord of the loss if it is handed in) and to your network/service provider to have the SIM blocked.
