My son is taking performing arts as an A level and he needs to get some performances done for his portfolio. Can anyone help?

There are a few decent amateur dramatics groups in Sheffield. You could try contacting them and see if he can attend a reading for one of their next productions. Lantern Theatre in Netheredge, Merlin Theatre, Library Theatre near Crucible and Drama Studio on Glossop Road all do amatuer productions.

Give them a ring and they'll be able to give you the numbers of some groups who put on the productions.
