does anyone know of a shop in sheffield that sells decent field hockey gear? I am thinking of joining the university team, and would need to buy some stuff like a new stick, hockey balls etc.

Try Puckstop on Staniforth Road. They do ice and roller hockey but they were doing field hockey stuff last time I went in there.

Best field hockey shop in Sheffield is Sheaf Sports on Staniforth Rd. They have a good range of quality branded sticks, they let you knock a ball about and if you play for a club they often give you a discount.

I don't go anywhere else!!
