what's it like at xmas???

I have been and it was freezing nearly all the time and only possibly 75% of the bars open but that still left plenty open if had not been cold it would not have been to bad

christmas is good in Benidorm still loads of pubs open with plenty of entertainment. Its mainly older people/ couples that go that time of year tho. Although you will have a good time...let us know how you get on:)

Dont knock it if u havnt been Benidorm is good fun but not perhaps very good for sightseeing admitedly. If all you want is a laugh and lots of pubs clubs its the perfect place and has a great beach though I doubt you will be using that much at this time of year.

I was a rep for 7mths over winter from Oct to April. Inever ever would think of going to Benidorm for holiday, but once there Ihad a great time. It is full of oldies and all pubs have free entertainment everynight, from comedians, singers and of course the infamous "stick Vicky". Chrismas day was warm and the beach was full. We had 2 jeeps dressed up all christmassy and we all had outfits on and drove along the promanade and everyone was having a great time. I would def go back for christmas in the future, and beer is cheaper than england, and you wont have the hassle of getting a taxi on christmas eve. Get yerself off there...

She certainly is infamous everyone who has been to Benidorm always asks if you have seen her.

I have already seen sticky vicky! caught that cultural act last time i went, 9 years ago! she surely can't still be doing it?

as you walk past the bars she's on tehm all about 15 minutes apart!!

I bought a tyre for my van in Benidorm, which was good, because then I was able to leave.

Im off to Ternerife in 2 days time(fog permitting :confused: ) prefer it there as you are going to get some decient weather, whereas spain can be quite cold at xmas

Sticky Vicky is alive and kicking, I think her daughter's in on the act too. Benidorm can be really cheesey but it's a fun night out and the older part has some great tapas bars.

Benidorm is great all year round, at this time of year its around 65 degrees.

according to the benidorm weather site the temp today is 42 degrees

Must be a cold day today then !!!!! Its usually warmer than that. We got back 3 weeks ago and were sunbathing on the beach. Night time can be chilly, but its still a lot warmer than here !!!!!

we went back this year for a stag do, during the world cup.. 50 lads in total.. yep sticky vicky is still doing the rounds..
Benidrom is a good laugh, its got everything you could possibly want from a weekend to 2 weeks away..

Never been to see sticky vicky I think it would put me off my tapas !! LOL
