I jsut looked at ordinary shoes for myself, as i had a red dress and not a white one, 'wedding shoes' weren't an option.

Monsoon had some nice ones in that would be fab for a wedding... as for the more 'usual' wedding shoes on a budget, look at BHS's wedding stuff (ooo i do'nt know if they stock stuff in winter  ) and other more normal shops with wedding ranges like debenhams

There's a dance shop on eccellsall road (past hunters bar), called Dance Scene I believe. They stock Rainbow Weddng shoes, all of which are lovely!

I had a right problem getting shoes, ended up going for gold ones instead of ivory to match my dress. Plenty of shops at Meadowhall are stocking gold & silver shoes at the moment seems to be the fashion.

Hi Kate, Just thought I'd throw this in. If you're looking for a videographer for your wedding then look no further. Shameless plug I know.

Good luck with the shoes!

Hi, i got my wedding shoes from BHS, they were lovely and tastefull and not too fussy! Only about £25 too if i remember rightly! Same here - I got mine from BHS, they were in the sale too for £15! They were plain ivory, so I bought some small diamate's and craft clue from the internet and personalised them. I'd seen some shoes in a magazine that had small diamante's lining the top of the shoe but they were about £200 so just copied that design. I figured that if I messed them up, they were only £15 and I could buy some more!
Turned out perfect though :)

Yup, mine came from there too.

I walked right round Sheffield, looking for some shoes and couldn't see any plain, simple ones that I really liked. Ended up getting them from BHS, Meadowhall.

My friend got hers from a bridal shop on Eccelsall Road, opposite Collegiate Crescent. They were nice but pricey. It depends on your price range too.

I bought a fab pair in Shoe Tree in Broomhill. They have an amazing shoe collection, but they are expensive. A lot of shoes which you will be able to wear again.

I actually got mine from TJ Hughes. They had a Berketex discount section upstairs when I got married 18 months ago and they had all the end of season Rainbow Club shoes in from Berketex on the Moor.
I got a pair of ex display shoes in mint condition for £28 (reduced from £60!!)

I think they were my biggest wedding bargain!

Just make sure you buy something really comfortable, or alternatively, buy a pair of white or cream flip flops for the evening because you will end up taking your shoes off at some point! :hihi:

I found some really nice ones by Paradox in Pronuptua in Ecclesall Road. They were too expensive, so ended up buying the same style on Ebay for £20.

I bought mine from BHS and they had the best selection anywhere else I had looked. Mind you it would seem that they are putting all their wedding stuff in the sale at the mo and taking it out of the shops so not sure if they will have any. Some of the shoes are on their website. Tried to go to BHS in Meadowhall the other day but it was still shut and the one down the Moor never had wedding stuff in.

I have some beautiful indian slipper style shoes for mine. they are gold and covered in sequins and embroidery. Flat too so are really comfy. You can buy similar ones from most indian clothes shops. Mine were from india, a friend got them me on holiday.
If you plan on wearing heels for the main event, something like what i have might be nice to put on if your feet hurt later on, while still looking glamourous. They really arent expensive either. See link below for a rough idea of what i mean.

Hi,

I got my wedding shoes on Saturday from a great place called "The Poppy Collection" in Wakefield, the staff were really helpful and the shop is fairly cheap. My shoes cost me £47 which I thought was really good.

They also sell wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, accessories & jewellery, its also a balloon and party shop.
