i have occasion to work round there from time to time, it's not very safe. i wouldnt reccomend it.

have lived in longley for three years now and never had any problems.couple of cars broken into on our road but guess thats same if not better than most council estates.

there is a lot of crime in the firth park and burngreave areas around there that spills into surrounding areas.

There's a lot of scare mongering here. There are pockets of problems, just like in ANY urban or rural area. Some streets are worse than others. There were some incidents involving car crime recently, youth nuisance can be a problem, other than that it's just like anywhere else.

iv lived in that area never had a problem dnt worry bout it :thumbsup:

possibly not so good then unless its either ecclesfield side of the pheasent pub or not as far as hospital other way
