Just wondering if anyone is a giant fan of most haunted?

I can't stand the show. No sightings ever occur, and the mediums have only started becoming possessed since they realised it increased the ratings. :roll:

I love it I think its well funny, though it would be good if they actually filmed something supernatural, as opposed to 'oh did you hear that noise, if must be a ghost', what that noise that sounded like someone shutting a door, surley no alive person could make that noise?!?!?. Until they do film something, I am happy watching them all running about dark buildings pooping their pants and screaming, quality!

I used too, i wanted to be a paranormal investigator because of them but then i realised they are all a big scam and its very boring.

I used to enjoy it until the film was released of Yvette bad-mouthing Derek and calling him a fake. The rot set in for me after that and now I just cant get into it.

I used to LOVE it for the first couple of seasons, when the format and the presenters and crew were all fresh and ready to be surprised. It could be genuinely tense and exciting - you never knew if something MIGHT happen! And Derek's such a fabulous showman - he was always great entertainment if nothing else.

It's become more and more obvious it's all set up, though, as the show's gone on. It's just entertainment, pure and simple, now - it's really got so cynical now that I don't bother with it. I'll half-watch the "Live" programmes, just in case something happens to scare the **** out of them all - that would be SO funny! - but it doesn't. :(

To compare then and now - in one of the very early programmes, they visited the vaults around Edinburgh's Royal Mile - and it was truly one of the scariest things I've ever seen on TV. Brilliant and terrifying. Recently they did a "Live" show from there, and it was SO boring I couldn't be bothered with it. Something's changed - and it ain't the locations.

Used to love it and it actually scared me at one point. Dont watch it now though, cant get into it. I just want to laugh at them.

However, the Medium on it, Ian Lawman (the 'guest medium') is my mate so i cant say anything bad about him. :hihi:

I used to watch it but I now think Derek should be nominated for an Oscar.

Why do they always leggit at the speed of light, I thought they were 'looking' for paranormal evidence.
As for "orbs", they are just dust particles, they didn't exist on film before digital cameras.

I didn't see the bit about Yvette bad mouthing Derek. Anybody know where I can view it.

I'm addicted to this programme and don't know why- I think it is just so tacky amd silly- I don't believe in the paranormal, but this really makes me believe that some people will do anything to get attention- let's face it- there's not much else on!

I never miss a show. Not sure if it is real enough, but it awakened a keen interest in the paranormal. Subsequently I've joined a Paranormal research group and have been around a few supposedly haunted locations.

Series 9 starts on 2nd January.

I'm a fan of Derek, Yvette is jealous as nothing happens when just she and the rest are on, and another reason is he has his own show. She's the last person to go ghost hunting as she is neurotic.

I have loads of it on DVD-r which I was trying to give away. I thought I had found a new home for it all but it's all gone quiet. I shall chase the person in question and if they don't want it it's up or graps again.
