Is march/april really rainy?? like every day???

Reasonable sort of weather - rain interspersed with sunny seplls </BBC weather report>

Hi, I know it's a rainy place, but my parents are coming to sheffield at the end of march and first days of april, and somebody told me that's the time of the year with more rain, with rain every day, is it true??? or is it just like any other month??
