I've been put in charge of organising a holiday for 5 or 6 people sometime during the Summer (even September if it'll be cheaper).

So, I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for locations that are touristy (so if my bad local language fails I can use English), but not crowded, hot, but ideally not more than 30 degrees or so (I melt), with a beach (someone elses requirement) - on a budget of £200-£300 per person including flights :)

I've had a quick look at Villas on JamesVillas.co.uk and they seem like a good idea, but obviously I'd like to hear a few suggestions beforehand.

Thanks!

Alex

The Greek Islands are most excellent at any time between April and October. Have a look on teletext and you can find holidays for £130 per person. Good ones too.

Oooh how exciting :D

200-300 for how long, and does it include flight, accomodation AND transfers ?

I think you're stretching it a bit to be honest... Especially the beach part.

I've found a few nice villas with 4 bedrooms - including flights and transfers brings it to £330 per person for a week, which seems pretty reasonable.

I'll definately have a look at the greek islands. Do you really save on lastminute breaks? I'm a bit wary of leaving it till a month, or a few weeks beforehand to book it.

what about somthing completly off the wall? theres 3 differnt events on through summer, the end destination will be prague, casablanca or rome, italy.
the idea is to buy a car that cost less than £100 and drive it to one of the locations above , up over the top of the alp's for prague and itlay, and over the peroness(mountains between france and spain) for casablanca.
and dont worrie theres a lot of people going thats never driven abroad before , theres 100 cars per event , i sound more and more like a add for them.
have a look at there site(cost nothing to look)
