why is there no need 4 it

Jamie

Yes ... it should be organised a lot better ......

The people who want to engage in footy violence should be allowed to do so ... under the following rules:

1). There should be an isolated area set aside for the violence (i.e. away from general public).

2). The participants should pay for rental of this area (perhaps hire the ground / stadium after the match).

3). The participants should supply their own weapons and ammo.

4). They should have no access to the NHS for treatment of their battle wounds etc ...

5). They should pay for any policing of the blood bath.

6). They should all sign legally binding documents whereby they are not allowed to take legal action against other participants who damage / mame / kill them.

etc etc ...

The only concern really is to minimise the damage / disturbance to decent people who don't want to engage in the violence.

Totally agree.

It should be allowed (under conditions of my prev. post).

Way I see it ... the more that die the better.

thats all well and good, but the fighting will become a national sport, and we'll end up having to police those crowds in the same way.

A catastrophe of infinite regress beckons.

Jamie,

Might we add that people should also dress for the occasion?

Stone Island, Aquascutum, etc.?

Points for presentation and turnout?

Joe ;)

With the quality of League soccer today it's probably the best excitement available....

Seriously, if you feel the need to fight why do you feel the need to involve the passers by? Years ago I was in the way of a running battle and it was quite terrifying. I got out of the way but quite a few didn't - so what's the justification?

the justification there doesnt need to be on just get the **** out the way?

After the match has ended, the players should leave the pitch and the thugs should be allowed 90 minutes of fighting on the field.

Throw in police snipers on the floodlights with rubber bullets and the occasional dispersal of tear gas would make outstanding entertainment!

Whilst I agree with Joe that this subject can get boring very quickly and I don't think you should be encouraged..I can't not respond your comments. I'm a 'feisty' 30yr who can more than stand up for herself but have been caught in a situation I think you are describing and when you are surrounded by a bunch of pre-historical types/footie 'fans' it is not that easy to get the **** out of the way and is bloody scary. If you're gonna have a ruck why not just invite these thugs to your own home and wreak havoc there!

Think you'll find that real men prefer 'tea and scones' (chris - very good!)

Jamie

I think his kind should very much so be encouraged.

Let them have the pitch for 90 mins after the match to do as much fighting with their like minded peers as they want.

I mean ... surely it benefits the rest of society if they kill each other off !?

I do object to police snipers idea however ... that was plain shocking !!!

There is NO WAY I want to pay for the bullits to shoot these scum ... never mind the police time.

OK then, how about a "Gladiator" style arena, where after 20 minutes we let loads of lions and tigers onto the pitch?

People like you should be locked up in a maximum security prison for some considerable time and only released at all if you have genuinely changed your ways. otherwise you can spend the rest of your life in there and good riddence!

I strongly object to that idea !!!

Why should decent tax paying citizens pay for his upkeep !? ... how can you justify that !?

Much better to let them all kill each other off ... and their families should even have to pay for the bullits if they are shot dead by the police snipers (see earlier post).

ok so we have two "teams" of thugs. and most of the rules, set out by jamie, are agreed.

however the big question for me is, who referees such a great occassion?

Vinnie Jones?

Ooohh..how exiting your life must be.
I bet your one of those that thinks he's a hooly then stands at the back shouting and legs it at the first opportunity but still wears his fake Burberry cap and makes up stories about how they 'did over' another firm.
People who take rucking at football matches seriously and are proper top boys don't come on here and brag about it.

If fox hunting is banned how about replacing it with another sport called hooligan hunting. The rules are very simple you just set several rottweillers (minimum 2 maximum 7) on a football hooligan and watch him being savaged. Great fun;)
