mikey   10 #1 Posted July 7, 2003 Not that I went, but watched quite a bit on TV.  My favourites were The Flaming Lips and The Thrills, just bought both albums on the strength of it.  The Thrills have such an unusual sound and I reckon will be massive this year. (Beach Boy influences)  Flaming Lips well they are just mad, I know they have been around a while but I have not heard them before. (these guys encourage there fans to come to gigs dressed up in animal suits or bring ray guns and lights and the lead singer pours blood over his head)  Anybody go?  I may go next year, think I will fit in? 40 at Filton? Andyman   10 #3 Posted July 7, 2003 Flaming Lips, again. What a band. Just bought Elephant by White Stripes. Didn't know young kids could still write music like this, brilliant.
 Share this content via...
