I'm in the process of decorating and refurbishing the upstairs spare room with a view to moving this dinosaur PC up there to make room for my new media centre which I'm planning to buy in the next couple of weeks - ( I bought my bookcase from Draggletail, actually).

I've also bought a showstopper: A Stella Artois table-top drinks fridge. Cool, or what?

It will take pride of place in my 'office' when the final lick of paint has dried.

Anyone else into this sort of stuff?

What kind of 'media centre' are you making?

take a pic of the finished masterpiece - we want to see :D

I've got a fridge thats the same size as the drinks coolers, I was honoured as it was a leaving present from my last job back home. I was only there 10 months as well and got booze to fill the fridge, a £30 pen and £10 voucher as well!!

I got an England one for my 30th birthday from my neighbours/friends.

It also came stocked with a case of Carlsberg - yum.

Very handy as well, my gran recently injured her leg and had trouble getting to the kitchen. Lent her my cooler so she could have it at the side of her for her drinks etc.

I'm not making any sort of media centre - I'm buying one. Job lot. No hassle. What spec - not sure yet.

Have a look at this (http://www.microdirect.co.uk/ProductInfo.aspx?ProductID=6087&GroupID=85) one. I'm thinking of getting one myself.

May it serve you well, Sam. Did it go up the stairs easily?:D

No, it didn't actually. It was impossible. But now we have two loveley bookcases. They look great. Bit of tweaking here and there - sound.

Bridge them with a bit bit of scaffolding board and they could double up as a decorating trestle!

I have a full blown fridge in my room atm (don't ask) it is a handy place to put the tv on.

It's always full of beer and for some strange reason yogurt pots

i think they are breeding in there, as i can't remember eating any of them

Pic (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v142/doorhandle/P8270038.jpg) of my mates recently stocked fridge. Yes, he was that proud of it he actually sent me a pic.

Impressive!!
Only addition I would make (off the top of my head) would be a couple of bottles of Leffe, and maybe a Staropramen:D:thumbsup:

Yikes, I thought I was the only one fussy about my beers

In my fridge there is:

3 bottles of Schneider Weiss, one bottle of swedish imported "Old Gold", 1 bottle of Sam Adams, 1 bottle of Hoegaarden Grand Cru and a massive bottle of Britt Blanche

Next on my Shopping list is some Schneider Aventinus
