Are you interested in getting fit/having a kickaround/meeting new people in Sheffield, but not sure if competetive league teams are quite suitable for you?

Well, I'm looking to organise some easy-going friendly five-a-side football, either at the Goodwin pitches near the Childrens' Hospital or at Goals near the big B&Q in the town centre. If enough people show some interest, that is...! So reply to this or send me a PM or email (jarisp@hotmail.com) - whatever your age, sex, fitness, playing experience. Just give it a go. If I get enough replies then I'll try and sort something out. I think it'd be cool if we could get a regular kickaround going on...

Sorry I've been a while in getting back to you. I had been hoping to get some footy going before the end of 2006, but we didn't have enough players. But now I think we do!!

So let's get it started..

First kickaround: this Saturday (20th Jan) 4pm at Goals (http://www.goalsfootball.co.uk/Contact/BranchLocator.aspx) cost = 3 quid each. Please let me know asap if you can make it so that I can sort out numbers (post a reply to this, send me a PM, email - jarisp@hotmail.com, or a text - 07949 221013). When you confirm that you can make it I'll get back to you with more details. Please let me know as soon as you can, because obviously there are limited places :) When we play on Saturday we can try and sort out what day/time is convenient for everyone if we want to play regularly. If you can't make it on Saturday but may want to play in the future, get in touch and let me know. Or if we can't get enough people for Saturday then we can rearrange it.

It'd be handy if you could add some contact information too (pref mobile no or email).

Well as i said in my pm. I would have thought Sat afternoon would be a problem with football fans. Maybe Sunday as well although i am free most Sundays, i am ok for any day in the week, except Thursday as i already play... So any day other than Saturday or Thursday count me and my mate in.

What do others think about what would be the best days.

We're not planning to play every Saturday, it's just this Saturday to get the ball rolling (no pun intended), and then we'll try and figure out when's best for everyone.

There are still a couple of places left (although we're still waiting to hear back from a few people), so if anyone else wants to play, get in touch! (contact details are in earlier post)

Would be very interested on Sun or Mon, Tues or Fri nights. Please keep me informed.
