We are going out this weekend. Unusual for us because we havent had a babysitter for months. We want to go close to home because of babysitting issues (wont go into it). Can you suggest somewhere for a nice meal for 2 around the S6 area or not too far away (have car)?

Maybe Robertos (or is it La Civetta?) It's very nice - went last week, and it was quite busy, so you might want to book. They can usually squeeze a table for two in though!

Go to the Italian next to Jet petrol station, it doesn't look much but the food is to die for, the best Italian Ive been to.Enjoy!

There's Vito's on South Road or the Lebanese restaurant Rowsha.

Rowsha was wonderful when we went, can definately recommend, though you may want to book it was fairly busy.
