Sounds good to me. Maybe Paul can have us do a guest spot on his radio show? I don't really know what 'floor music' is though, but I assume it's music played lying down. I'll try owt once.

Is it not music which builds to a steady crescendo and leads to the knocking out of the dj playing the tunes, hence "Floor Music":suspect:

That sounds possible. I saw Jah Shaka (heavy dub reggae maestro) play in London and people near the speakers fell over in waves when he kicked the bass back in.

I picked this up from Wikipedia..............

"Floor Music"- Heard in the Highland of Scotland, where millers commencing a mix of self raising would be heard to say to there apprentices to put on some music to work too. This would be the "Floor Music":suspect:

Indeed - I definitely will look up some 'floor music'.

It's good to see old folk traditions being carried on in such places as Ibiza. Good work Paul - more power to your elbow for bringing Scottish work songs to the binge-drinking masses.

Have to say, I'm still confused about Ibiza being 'on sheffield', as per the title of this thread. Also, if it's solid, is there a non-solid state that the small Spanish island adopts?
