Its been along time since the council had any involvement in the Leadmill - the managment bought it out in the late 80s/early 90s for a ridiculously cheap price.

But still cannot see why the club would be shutting.

I highly doubt a club like the leadmill would close. It's probably sheffields best nightclub.

have you been to leadmill night recently....the door numbers are well down in general and its not just the students being away, its much quieter than last Summer was overall.

Plus we've just had one of our best Summers (tradewise) ever.
