Do you know of any companies in Sheffield who would be willing to open their doors to a party of about 15 young people age 14 - 16, to show them around and tell them a bit about their business, the types of jobs that they have and some general info about careers with their company?

I'm thinking about companies that will be interesting to visit (not dull and boring offices).

It would be extra helpful if you could suggest companies that you KNOW do this sort of thing.

Contact the careers service - possibly the department that liases with schools, they should have a list already compiled. It should save you the hassle of searching.

Try contacting the Sheffield Learning and Skills Council. They should know about local businesses that work with schools and provide what you're after.
