Does anyone know of any friendly mother and baby type groups around the stannington, walkley or city centre areas? I also am interested in finding out whether there are any Mother/Baby swimming clubs in sheffield. Any info would be greatly appreciated! ;o) Thanx

Dronfield swimming pool is suppose to be good, only heard never been yet myself, looking for somewhere myself to for my 3 month old baby, hope u get sorted out

Hi I take my little boy to dronfield swimming pool and its lovely, they have a little baby pool and its really warm. There is also waterbabies which is more structured swimming classes for babies i think their website is www.waterbabies.co.uk

Regarding mother and baby groups, have you tried asking at your local doctors or your health visitor. I live near gleadless, and my health visitor runs her own baby group, so maybe there would be something like that local to you? Also the childrens information service on leopold st have information about local groups.

Something else you might be interested in is baby signing, i did this with my little boy and the classes are fantastic. If you want any more details let me know and i'll dig the womans number out for you.

There is mother and baby group on wednesdays 10-1 at St.johns centre (not sure if that is what it is called) along Forbes Road in Hillsborough.
I am looking for mother baby things too, or will be in a few months, so it would be good if you could post up any others you find:)
