I'd be shocked - but over the moon, if Roman came back; I started going in the 70's (first match was against USSR, and I was disappointed to see the much acclaimed Doug Wyer wasn't riding - Alan Wilkinson as guest) and I've never enjoyed a rider as much as I did the Bouncing Czech!

He is apparently planning a shock comeback, i am still very sceptical of this happening personally, but ive not been told the full story as its supposed to be a secret, but if it was true, and on a 4 average (assesed)!, not riding for 10 years he will still be awesome, what a season ticket seller that would be!
My all time favourite since going to owlerton since 1991, he was sheffield speedway in the 1990s to me. Infact 1994 held them together at times!.
So as i say i personally really hope this comes off, the guy may have had certain off track incidents, but theres no doubting the guys talent!:cool: :D

would be awesome to see him back, he was always worth the entrance fee alone, some of his over taking skills where breathtaking, plus you never knew what he would do next :hihi:

Roman is 42 now, but i still feel against a lot of todays riders, and the standard of the premier, he could still kick ass!, ive got his dvd life story, its funny, his upper strength was unbelieveable! , if he does finally come back, get yourself at owlerton to see 1 of the many greats to grace owlerton, with the likes of shawn moran, sean wilson etc:hihi: :cool:

Apparently roman will be taking a german licence out for next season, and thats why he can come in on 4.00, also hes been working hard in czecho on fitness, this would be good news.
