Ah yes how welcome - that little old sweet shop at top of Sheldon Rd has now become an art gallery:
http://www.theoldsweetshopsheffield.co.uk
and its really cool ... they are looking for work to sell and favour local artists within Sheffield to those outside ...
Its worth checking out just to see an art object which is a chest of drawers with the Princess of Wales pictures stuck all over them .. the "Diana Drawers" they call it ....
Please support your local galley .. and then go across the road to check out more art for sale in in the Edge Cafe and then across the road again for coffee at Cafe #9 .. brilliant !

The shop is very nice - especially Diana's Drawers!!
@TomBabylon I'm sure the site will be up and running soon enough - they only opened a week and a half ago! Also if you check the shop they are very much a proper gallery with lots of pieces from local artists.
Long live the Old sweet shop!

It's a brilliant place, they've just put up some new Kid Acne silk screen prints. Loads of interesting stuff. Get thee sen's in and support your local shops. And as for Latin, try spelling the English language right first before you knock another. It's not rubish. It's bloody rubbish.

Ooh, are they the ones on the wall to the right of the door? They're beautiful. I walked past today and saw them thru' the window, but didn't go in cos I was wet-cold-miserable due to waiting in the rain behind someone who spent forever at the cash machine at Jacksons. Definitely planning to go and have a look though.

Yes, that's them. Fantastic prints. Signed and limited to 30 of each design. Well worth a look.
apols if this seems a bit PM-ish, but have you any idea of their price range, pitcanary?
