with the weather being so nice recently my family decided to have a barbecue. we had some music on whitch wasnt 2 loud and had a good time it wasnt late when we finished , end of story so i thought. ive just recieved a letter from the council which 2 cut 2 the chase accuses me of causing a disturbance. the main point of this post is i work on attercliff rd and every day at dinner time the local mosque blasts an allmighty amount of noise out. according 2 a local landlord its a calling 2 prey 4 the local muslims ; but 2 be honest when they all start the noise is incredible. this isnt a race issue im on about it just seems that sometimes thingsseem a little unfair in sheffield at the moment with the way things are going.

Well if your family were playing music after 10.30pm then you may get neighbours complaining. On the mosque issue - I'm assuming they play the 'calling to prey' during the day (when you're at work)? If so then the laws don't apply till unsociable hours mate.

And those church bells make an awful din don't they. Antisocial buggers, these Christians.

take your point about the neighbours, but firstly we stopped the music at nine thirty and secondly if you lived 10 yards away from this calling 2 pray would you want 2 sit in your house or garden and listen 2 that several times a day. like i sain im not a racist and respect other peoples relgions ete just think sometimes things dont seem right.

Yep they sure do! Sometimes they start as early as 8am on a Sunday morning... :(

You might wish to check your post before submitting it - lots of typos in there! As for being racist, as markham points out - church bells cause a lot of strife too...
